Work-in-Process (Work-in-Progress) WIP Tracking Solutions

work-in-process tracking

BellHawkRx provides a variety of work-in-process (work-in-progress) WIP tracking solutions from simple work-in-process (work-in-progress) WIP materials tracking to Materials Tracking and Traceability systems that track and trace the transformation of raw materials into finished products.

These work-in-progress (work-in-process) WIP tracking systems make it easy for materials handlers and machine operators to capture tracking data by replacing the use of paper forms and manual keyboard data entry with barcode scanning.

These systems are affordable for use by small and mid-sized manufacturing, engineering, converting, repair, and other industrial organizations.

BellHawkRx provides the four alternate ways of tracking work-in-process:

  1. Simple Work-in-Process Tracking System (SPTS) - tracks the progress of work orders through a sequence of operations and also captures the labor time required.
  2. License-Plate Materials Tracking System (LPMTS) - tracks work-in-process work-in-process (WIP) materials as they move from operation to operation. Can capture wait time and elapsed time for each operation.
  3. Real-Time Operations Tracking System (RTOPS) - tracks the transformation of raw materials into finished products through a sequence of operations.  This integrates real-time tracking of work orders and labor with the tracking of work-in-process inventory.
  4. Materials Tracking and Traceability System (MTTS) - adds to RT-OPS the ability to track back from finished products to the raw materials used and to trace forward from defective raw materials to the finished products effected.
